Hello all, it is us, the Steingold sisters. Didja miss us? Quite frankly, we've been very busy with various things and haven't really had time or energy to type on here. Well, okay we had both time and energy, yet we didn't really feel inspired to write about anything. We've seen a few shows here and there that we now want to talk about.
Why the change? THE OSCARS.
Did anyone think the Academy Awards this year were kind of amazing/ridiculous/WOW SO MUCH TO TALK ABOUT.
"I Don't Know How to Love Him" mixed with "You Can't Stop the Beat." Hugh Jackman. Seth Rogen and James Franco. Whoopi Goldberg's amazing joke about being a nun. Hugh Jackman. Dustin Lance Black's amazing speech. Christopher Walken's new hairdo. Hugh Jackman. Honestly, we feel like that huge, crazy musical number with Beyonce (umm...), Amanda Seyfried, and the HSM couple deserve its own post. "THE MUSICAL IS BACK." We feel like young blondes in pink "Popular" T-shirts, somewhat nerdy brace-faces in "Defy Gravity" T-shirts, and anyone who's ever worn a maroon and blue striped sweater, scarf, and glasses on Halloween were jumping up and down giddily, tears in their eyes, when Hugh shouted this out.
We don't own those T-shirts nor have ever dressed as a character from Rent for Halloween. Other than that... yeah, we may or may not have fit the description noted above.
We can't wait to talk about this, and we can't wait to talk about the shows we've seen recently.
